心のおもむくままに描き続け、およそ半世紀。
画家・田上允克の作品を集めた展覧会を、10/10(火)-12(木)の3日間に渡って開催いたします。

そこに紙があれば、描かずにはいられない─

30歳で描くことに出会い、デッサン、版画、絵画、ミクストメディアと時代と共に、技法の変化はありながらも、日々、新たな作品が生まれ続け、褪せることのない描く楽しさと発見に突き動かされている。

作品にタイトルや意味を持たせず、構図や線、色彩に重きを置き
アクリル、油彩、水彩、クレヨン、墨、砥粉、ダーマトグラフ、コラージュなど、性質や種類の異なる複数の素材や手法を用いて現れる作品たち。

あふれるイメージを形にし、年間2,500〜3,000枚描かれる作品の中から
本展では約100点の作品を展示・販売するほか、
作家本人の在廊とライブペインティングも予定しています。

圧倒的な表現力と、創造することの悦びを感じていただけたら幸いです。

・2023/10/1 Masakatsu Tagami Exhibition

Painting as his heart dictates, for almost half a century.
We are pleased to present a three-day exhibition of works by the artist, Masakatsu Tagami, from 10/10 (Tue) to 12/12 (Thu).

If there is a paper there, he can’t help painting…

Masakatsu Tagami discovered painting at the age of 30. Although his techniques have changed with the times, he continues to create new works every day, including drawings, prints, paintings, and mixed media, and is driven by the joy of discovery and drawing that never fades away.

He does not give titles or meanings to his works, but focuses on composition, line, and color. He uses a variety of materials and techniques of different qualities and types, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, crayon, ink, grit, dermatograph, and collage.

He gives form to his overflowing images, and from among the 2,500 to 3,000 paintings he creates each year, this exhibition features approximately 100 works.
The artist himself will be present at the exhibition, and live painting is also scheduled.

We hope you will experience the overwhelming power of expression and the joy of creation.
