人と人を繋ぐ。
アーティストたちが生み出す普遍的な強さと美しさの表現を、多くの人に届ける、年に一度のExhibition。
9年目となる本年は、延べ30組のアーティストとともにみなさまをお迎えします。
文化人類学研究者である山口吉彦さんが所有する、貴重な民族コレクションから、壊れてしまったり活用出来なくなったパーツを譲り受けたアーティストたち。今年の「ブリコラージュ展」は、20組の出展アーティストが参加いたします。それぞれの持つ多様なルーツと表現から、新たな息吹を得た作品の数々をご覧ください。
メインビジュアルを描く画家・田上允克さんの展覧会も同時開催いたします。本展では約100点の作品を展示・販売するほか、11日(水)には作家本人の在廊とライブペインティングも予定しています。日々作品を生み出し続けるその限りないエネルギーを、会場で感じていただけたら幸いです。
そして毎年、わたしたち自身が制作を楽しみにしているDM。通常、焼却されてしまう鹿皮を”紙”としての幅広い可能性を見出すshujiworksさんの鹿皮紙を用い、ひとつひとつコラージュを施しました。
手間暇をかけた、TRACING THE ROOTSのDM。みなさまのお手元に届きますように。

Connecting people to people.
This is an annual exhibition that brings the strong, beautiful, and universal expressions created by artists to many people.
This year, the 9th, we welcome you with a total of 30 artists.
The “Bricolage Exhibition” utilizes broken or unusable parts from the valuable ethnic collection owned by anthropologist Yoshihiko Yamaguchi. This year, 20 exhibiting artists will participate in it.
We hope you will enjoy viewing the works that have been given a new lease of life through the diverse roots and expressions of each artist.
An exhibition of the main visual artist, Masakatsu Tagami, will also be held at the same time. In addition to the exhibition and sale of approximately 100 works, the artist himself will be in the gallery on October 11 (Wed.), and live painting is also scheduled.
Please feel the boundless energy of him, who continues to create artwork on a daily basis.
We enjoy creating DMs for TRACING THE ROOTS every year.
This time, we used deerskin paper made by shujiworks, which finds a wide range of possibilities as “paper” in deerskins that would normally be thrown away. Each piece is individually collaged for the DMs by ourselves.
We hope that you will receive the DM of TRACING THE ROOTS, which we made with much time and care.
