いとおしきもの

山の中風雨に晒され土に眠る水晶
主と用途を無くした古道具
繕い継がれた色褪せた襤褸布

そのなんとも美しく
いとおしきものたちを
装身具や衣、スピーカーと
夫婦それぞれ形に仕立て
ゆくべきひとのもとへ
繋いでいます

せつ
1985年東京生まれ。元イラストレーター、グラフィックデザイナー。
夫婦で日本の山々に分け入り自然を壊す事なく土の中から水晶などの鉱石を採集。有りの儘の形を一切削らず、古代の民が大切な人へ拵えたお護りのような気持ちで、装身具や衣へと昇華させる。

宇宴
1985年福岡生まれ。美術大学にて写真を専攻。元オーディオ専門誌編集者。
古民具のかつての用途を生かした一点もののスピーカーや、採集した水晶で照明を制作。人が本能的に心地よさを感じる“ノイジー” な音や光、造形を探求している。

In the mountains, crystals lie in the soil, exposed to the wind and rain.
Old tools that have lost their original purpose.
Faded rags that have been mended.

These beautiful and lovable things,
We, a husband and wife team, make them into accessories, clothes, speakers, and other works of art, and pass them on to the people they are meant to belong to.

Setsu
Born in Tokyo in 1985. Former illustrator and graphic designer.
Go into the mountains of Japan to collect crystals and other ores from the soil without destroying the nature with my husband. And sublimate them into ornaments and clothes with a feeling of protection that the ancient people prepared for their loved ones.

Uen
Born in Fukuoka in 1985. Majored in photography at an art college. Formerly an editor of an audio magazine.
Create one-of-a-kind speakers that make use of old folk tools that were once used in the past, as well as lights made from collected crystals. He is exploring noisy sounds, lights, and forms that people instinctively feel comfortable with.
