1986年生まれ
韓国人の父と日本人の母の間に生まれ　箱根の麓で自由に育つ
2008年 文化服装学院アパレル技術科卒業
その頃から国内外へ旅に出る
2011年 デンマーク留学
留学までの一年半 都内北欧家具屋でインターンをしながら修復を学ぶ
多国籍人が集うデンマークの学校で環境問題や平和について深く向き合う
2016年 ニュージーランド放浪
禅老師ティク・ナット・ハンの教えに触れ感銘を受ける
2019年 長野に移住し　妻子と愛猫犬と
森で生活しながら　籠を編む日々

To you whom I have not seen yet.
When you go out somewhere
I will accompany you in the form of a basket.
I generously surrender the space of a basket to you
and you freely carry things and strut about.
Enjoy conversation with someone somewhere
and the seasons change, and the heart is filled with excitement.
Soaking in the great silence

Masamitsu Kunugi
Born in 1986
Born to a Korean father and a Japanese mother, I grew up freely at the foot of Hakone.
Graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 2008.
Started traveling in Japan and abroad around that time.

2011 Studied abroad in Denmark.
Studied restoration while interning at a Scandinavian furniture shop in Tokyo for a year and a half before studying abroad
Thought deeply about environmental issues and peace at a school in Denmark where multinationals gather

2016 Wandering in New Zealand
Inspired by the teachings of Zen master Thích Nhất Hạnh
2019 Moved to Nagano, Japan with my wife, child, cat and dog.
