天然染料の服と化学染料の服

代表の大籠千春が主に天然染料を使用する染工場として、福岡県大木町にて開業。「中量生産できる天然染工場」として、藍染・墨染・草木染めなどの天然染料と、絞り・折り・板締めなどの模様を生み出す「防染」と呼ばれる技法を用いて、主にアパレルブランド向けに洋服、服飾雑貨の染色加工を行う。
2013年よりOEMを軸としながら「染めのサンプル」の提案としてオリジナル商品の企画、染色、販売を開始。現在は、「エイジレス・ジェンダーレスな日常着」をテーマに天然染料、手染めと古来からの技法のみを使用した「宝島染工」の服と、手染めの技法を転用しつつ、化学染料と化学繊維のみを使用した-thus- テキスタイルにフォーカスした2ラインを展開している。

Clothes with natural dyes and with chemical dyes

TAKARAJIMA SENKOU

Chiharu Oogomori, the representative, opened TAKARAJIMA SENKOU in Fukuoka, as a dyeing factory that mainly uses natural dyes.
As a natural dyeing factory capable of medium-volume production, we use natural dyes such as indigo, sumi-zome, and herb-dye, as well as techniques to create patterns such as shibori, fold, and itajime mainly for apparel brands.
In 2013, we began planning, dyeing, and selling original products as a proposal for “dyed samples”.
Currently, under the theme of ageless and genderless daily wear, the company is developing two lines of products: “TAKARAJIMA SENKOU” clothes using only natural dyes, hand-dyeing, and ancient techniques, and “thus-” clothes using only chemical dyes and synthetic fibers, while converting hand-dyeing techniques.
