今から2000年前に栄華を誇った古代ローマ。
そしてローマ人も憧れたギリシアの神々と美の世界。
西洋文化の源流となった２つの文化を宿す小さなカケラたちをご紹介します。

神 ひと ケモノ（毛涯 達哉）
古美術商。1980年東京都生れ。東北大学でバイカル湖集水域の古環境学を専攻。大学院中退後、クラシック音楽関係の会社に就職。仕事の合間に独学でロシア語を習得し、2014年にサンクトペテルブルクへ移住。東京と往復する傍ら、ヨーロッパや中東に通い、古代ユーラシアやオリエント（エジプト、メソポタミア、ギリシア、ローマ、ビザンツなど）の発掘考古およびキリスト教美術を取り扱う。文化的背景や美術様式を学ぶきっかけになるよう、テーマを持たせた展示会を企画している。

A Piece of Ancient Greece and Rome

Ancient Rome was in full glory 2,000 years ago.
And the world of Greek gods and beauty that even the Romans yearned for.
Here we introduce small fragments of these two cultures, which became the source of Western culture.

Kami, Hito, Kemono  (Tatsuya Kegai)
Antique dealer. born in 1980 in Tokyo. Studied paleoenvironmental studies of the Lake Baikal catchment area at Tohoku University.
After dropping out of graduate school, I worked for a classical music company. In between jobs, I taught myself Russian and moved to St. Petersburg in 2014. While traveling back and forth from Tokyo, I commuted to Europe and the Middle East to work on excavated archaeological and Christian art in ancient Eurasia and the Orient (Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, Byzantium, etc.). I organize themed exhibitions to provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about cultural backgrounds and art styles.
